THE OWNER – SPIKE
Spike started in the barber business when he was 13 years old. His job was sweeping floors at the barbershop when one day, a customer gave him a dollar. “It was the most beautiful thing ever,” Spike said. “When I went to play with the other kids, I was the only one with a dollar. I loved that.”
Over the next few decades, Spike traveled the world from Dubai to France to England. He has received certificates and diplomas from abroad and has worked with some of the best barbers, though he doesn’t consider his learning experience to be complete.
“There is always going to be someone that does something better than you,” Spike said. “You will learn it and you will perfect it so you can be on the same level with any competition.”
